Living Credit Card to Credit Card

What is worse than living paycheck to paycheck? Living Credit Card to Credit Card. It's so easy to Apple Pay. And then going back to avoidance, not look at your statement and just pay the minimum.


We are in the world of exploring financial trauma.  The next manifestation is over-spending.  Let's review the past topics -

 

  1. Hoarding and being excessively cheap

  2. Spending money on others to your own detriment

  3. Avoidance

 

Based on the word "Trauma", there will be a lot to unpack.  I highly recommend securing the assistance of a Therapist to help navigate the underlying issues involved in your trauma.  You can search for competent therapists here at Psychology Today.

You will know you need the service.  However, denial can creep in and keep you from acknowledging you spending issues.  Maybe we need to start a OSA - Overspending Anonymous.  If you are living paycheck to paycheck or worse - credit card to credit card, you know your financial life choices are not sustainable.   Address the issue.  Get a therapist.  Get a Certified Financial Planner (Fee Only) and work with me to help you move forward.  Always ask yourself, what happens if…….
